From April 27 to 29, the 14th edition of "RogoGames" took place in Pleasanton, CA, in which students from Red Semper Altius schools obtained three gold medals, one silver and one bronze.
This year, the Cumbres Del Bosque Leó n Institute , the Instituto Alpes Cumbres Guadalajara and the Himalaya Monterrey School represented the Semper Altius School Network and put the name of Mexico and its school on high, competing with the best students from 38 countries of the world.
The students of the two teams of the Instituto Alpes Cumbres Guadalajara obtained a silver and gold medal in the "Lego Jr." category in the "Tube Push" challenge, as well as a gold medal in the "Bowling" category, and the students of the Instituto Cumbres Del Bosque León, were winners of gold medal in the category "Best Of Show" in which they presented a special robotic keyboard to help people who have been born without arms or have lost them, and bronze medal in the category "SUMO".
RoboGames is one of the most important robotics competitions in the world, with the participation of several countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, USA and Egypt, among others. This type of event allows students to develop new skills, reinforcing the knowledge acquired in school and helps them acquire skills that will enable them to successfully face a global world.
It is a great pride for Mexico, for the Semper Altius School Network and for each of its participating schools to stand out in important events of international stature.
