There were thirty-seven attendees at the conference representing
nine RC or RC Affiliated schools (Canyon Heights Academy, Clear Water Academy, East Lake Academy, Everest Collegiate High School and Everest Academy, Everest Lemont, Everest Manila, Pinecrest Academy, Royalmont Academy, and The Highlands School) and the RC Education team.
The two-and-a-half-day schedule was centered on prayer and open-ended as well as directed collaboration among the attendees towards the accomplishment of the conference goals. Other highlights included a tour of The Highlands School, StrenghtFinders and team building exercises, and closing out with a special retreat book presentation by Fr. Daniel Brandenburg, LC about his new book –
Journey to Joy.
In addition to the RC Education team speakers, we brought in three outside speakers this year: Melodie Wyttenbach Ph.D. (Boston College), Jeff Garrett (Ascent Performance Group), and Mary Rice Hasson (Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C.).
